Então, isso é verdade mesmo.
Eu não tenho NENHUM ícone no desktop, então da para usar de boas!



Mas se voce tem muita coisa, é melhor deixar um espaço em branco.
Mas se voce realmente tiver sérios problemas com poluição visual, é melhor nem ter esse wallpaper!

Eu pessoalmente gosto mais daqueles bem clean. Fundo branco e detalhezinho no canto. SÓ!

Eu geralmente uso os wallpapers padrão do mac, de natureza e tal; a maioria é simples como vc falou.
Mas quando uso os mais poluídos/detalhados, crio uma pasta chamada "bando de tralhas" ou coisa parecida, e vou jogando tudo lá! ISDUHUISADHASUI XD
