I made this fanart inspired by one scene of my favourite movies: Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas is a 1998 American drama film directed by Terry Gilliam, starring Johnny Depp and Benicio del Toro. It was adapted from Hunter S. Thompson's 1971 novel of the same name.

The character pictured is Hunter. S. Thompson, played by Johny Depp and the scene is the "Bat Country"

The original factor of this art is very highly ranked! It's very different from most art you see on here. Although this plays a factor, the coloring technique could be a bit more complex looking for how original it is. There should be more "textures" in the colors to accomplish this complex look. For example, layering/mixing colors onto the bats, flowers, and hair would do the trick. Also, the main focus of the picture, in my opinion, should stand out just a bit more ( This can also be done by layering thick paint on for texture. )
The way that the bats have a "smudged" look also plays a role in the original factor/creativity of this piece. If you keep thinking like this, all your pieces will turn out to be more unique looking than everyones' pictures who would try to "steal" this style. But, we all know generic people can't steal this style! ;D
